The Care Workers’ Charity hosts Going the Extra Mile to shine a spotlight on the lengths taken by people working in social care. \nCare and support workers are known Go the Extra Mile to support those they care for. Making someone smile by making funny faces\, giving someone their favourite foods and being a friendly face that says ‘hello’ are some of the small ways that care and support workers are making a real difference. \nTaking part in Going the Extra Mile gives you an opportunity to celebrate social care. \nYou could run a sponsored walk\, swim\, run with your colleagues\, friends or family. \nSet up your fundraising page on JustGiving or via our website and share it with your contacts. \nFollow this link to download your fundraising pack and materials to be used on social media. \nIf you have any questions\, email fundraising@thecwc.org.uk
